thinking of the summer

On one of my hunter gatherer days i purchased these wonderful french unused seed labels i think the colours and the designs are beautiful (see the picture at the bottom of the page .) I then spent the next few days thinking of what to create????? i think i was on overtime when i made the flower and veg trug .. which the glue did not have time to dry when it was sold . then i progressed onto the the seed boxes ... then the thought came to reproduce on paper then to cover some notebooks i think they look FAB.
I am now working on a gardeners diary , greetings cards, aprons , more trugs , etc etc etc ... i hope you like them . have a good week .....Hx

lovely old books

spring is coming?

I LOVE THE SPRING AND ANYTHING I CAN DO TO ENCOURAGE IT!....WELL THEY DO LOOK AND SMELL BEAUTIFUL..

spring i think is coming ? some hyacinths in vintage cups or vases..

there is something about old books?!

i am not sure if its the fab old covers whether they are made of leather or coloured linen.

the faded pages with some really pretty coloured plates or sketches, i have a real wow reaction when i open some of the old nature study books ,( i will try to photograph them today )

or it may be just the smell?

I`m BACK!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

at last i have my new laptop . camera. etc etc and i will hopefully try to keep this updated.

2011 will hopefully be a bit more productive technically speaking.

i will post some photos that i have taken on my new camera so you can see whats been going on in the shop.

i am still in great bardfield and loving it , this is such a friendly village and very supportive of local businesses, there is a fab local co-op, butchers, hairdresser, pub, gift shop, museum and the cage not to mention the "high barn" fab place to see and hear great music for all tastes. also little me.
wishing you all a great year ahead......................................................................Hx
