Thanks for mentioning me, I thought I would give you some tips about blogging. To encourage people to visit your blog, you really need to make yourself known, this means becoming a bit of a social butterfly, and leaving plenty of comments on other people blogs, this will hopefully encourage them to visit your blog to find out about you, and maybe even leave you a comment. It is also a good idea to make a list of the the blogs you like to read in your sidebar, if you do this by the Blogger 'Blogs I Follow' application in the Layout section, then when you add a new favourite blog to your list the person who's blog it is will be able to see they have a new follower, and may visit your blog and leave a comment. They may in turn add your blog to their favourites, there for, making a link to your blog on their page, which will encourage more people to visit you. I hope that makes sense, I know it sounds rather long winded, but if you do the leg work in the beginning then eventually you will create a steady flow of traffic to your site. If you are interested in tracking the traffic to your blog you can add a Sitemeter to your side bar which is free and will be able to tell you who, what, where, and when people are visiting you blog, and from which site they where directed from. You can find a link to sitemeter via the sitemeter counter at the bottom of my blog sidebar.
